Course Description: This course is intended to provide information on socially-relevant factors for practitioners to consider when delivering internet-based services to young adults and adolescents with ADHD or autism. The authors describe a study in which online support and coaching sessions were held across an eight-week period, then followed by interviews with each participant. These interviews yielded data on the participants’ reasons for choosing to participate in the study, their experience taking part in the coaching process, and how the format of the coaching and support sessions was received. Discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of the online model, as well as suggestions for improvement as presented as well.
