Course Description: The purpose of this article is to contribute to the developing literature on reverse ageism by exploring a possible pathway toward reverse ageism that today’s young employees, the Millennials, face. The article examines the origins of reverse ageism and generational stereotyping directed at young non-profit professionals. Clinicians will better understand ageism versus reverse ageism, explain generational stereotyping, and discuss implicit bias to clients experiencing issues with this in the workforce. Finally, clinicians will be better able to recognize and evaluate workplace discrimination to provide solutions.
