Course Description:
This course provides a comprehensive overview of family resources and treatment options by Friends of Recovery New York: a Family to Family Resource Guide. The guide begins with an introduction to the historical background of Alcoholics Anonymous, its founders, and the programs that developed shortly thereafter. General warning signs and symptoms of alcohol and drug addiction are outlined. Material is presented to assess addiction, find support, and locate resources for loved ones.
